Tom Phillips, a talented drummer from Cornwall, is in his final year at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Specialising in jazz, he also excels in Latin, pop, soul, and orchestral styles. His dynamic performances have gained recognition in the music scene. As he prepares to graduate, Tom is eager to explore new opportunities and refine his craft.

Influenced by drumming legends like Ari Hoenig, Jeff "Tain" Watts, and Roy Haynes, Tom brings excitement to every performance, captivating audiences with his dynamic style. His Cornish roots steeped in folk traditions shape his distinct sound, blending contemporary and traditional influences. Whether at a festival or an intimate venue, his musical passion ensures each performance is memorable.

Currently, Tom is in the exciting process of carefully crafting his highly anticipated debut album, titled “Homebound,” which draws heavily from the enchanting folk songs that filled his childhood with warmth and nostalgia. Set to be released in June 2025, the album promises to be a deeply heartfelt tribute to both his rich heritage and his unique musical journey thus far.
